About this item
Three modes, set with the small switch on the front panel:
Extend: runs the PoE ports up to 250 m (at 10 Mbit), for cameras far from the switch.
Watchdog: notices a camera or access point that has stopped responding and restarts it by cycling its power. The other ports stay up.
VLAN: isolates the PoE ports from each other. That stops broadcast storms and keeps camera feeds from stuttering or dropping.
