What we collect
When you send an order request or a camera system quote, we keep the details you give us: your name, email address, phone number, company and VAT number if you add them, your delivery or site address, your notes, and what you ordered or configured. We also log the IP address the request came from, to stop abuse. We don't use tracking or advertising cookies. One cookie holds your cart.
Why we collect it
To prepare your invoice or quote, deliver your order or install your system, and contact you about it. We don't sell your details or use them for marketing.
Who sees it
KMCY Tech staff, and the service that delivers our email. Your details are stored on servers we control in South Africa.
How long we keep it
As long as we need it for the order or quote, and for as long as tax law requires us to keep records.
Your rights
Under the Protection of Personal Information Act you can ask what we hold about you, have it corrected, or ask us to delete it. Email info@kmcy.co.za. If you're not satisfied with our answer, you can complain to the Information Regulator at inforeg.org.za.
